Behind The Scene

This dedication led to a chance meeting in 2024 at a Thimphu agricultural fair with Stella, founder of Bahagia. Recognising a beautiful alignment between Bhutan’s pure organic agrifood products and the Singapore market, Stella brought Bhutan Blossoms to its successful international launch at Boutique Fairs Singapore in March 2025. This partnership further established Bahagia as a bridge to close the divide between rural artisan farmers and the urban consumer market.

The Core

At its core, Bhutan Blossoms empowers small-holding communities, paying salaries and sharing profits to transition farmers from subsistence to resilience. Dedicated to empowering female farmers and contributing to rural economic development, Bhutan Blossoms partners with the Drachukha Flower Group—an initiative founded by young entrepreneurial women from a farming community in Bhutan’s Jigme Dorji National Park—who manage the brand's flower supply chain. By also collaborating with groups like the Tashithang Biodynamic Cooperative and pioneering Bhutan’s first EU-Organic and Demeter-certified farms, Bhutan Blossoms ensures that every product protects the country’s astonishing biodiversity.
